I was always under the impression that you needed more for Cruise Planners. At least this is what I have read. The low end is around 14 grand and the average being about 22 grand. Maybe things have changed since I last looking into it.

If you live near or in an area that has a lot of tourists for weddings, TSS Photography would be a HUGE success. I know a few local companies that only have a few photographers working there and they are always handling pictures at events.

Events and wedding hosting/planning go well and there will always be a market for it. If it is your cup of tea, I think it is one of the better startup businesses to get involved with because of the creative freedom and ability to budget everything.

That's an interesting list but nothing I have any clue about.

What makes these more successful than others? If you have an article link, I'd love to read through it!

I am familiar with these startups but not knowledgeable on them. I don't think many people are. I would say one of the cheapest startups is making an app but you need to know how to make one and how to make money from it.

Given the general issue of the virus being a thing right now, going into anything that is event or travel related is likely a bad investment. I would wait until all this stuff gets sorted before you put any money into those kinds of startups.

I spoke with a woman who said her and her husband started up a home showing business a few years ago and prior to the virus outbreak, they have really good and consistent business. I would say anything having to do with homes is a good long term business to get into because people will always be buying homes.

@sheldon I am always happy to hear about couples who get successful with each other in business. Nothing is better then going into a business with someone you know you can trust who will always have your back.
