Given how 2020 has been thus far, having financial freedom and knowing your income is in your own hands and not someone else’s is a beautiful thing. I am looking into different options for starting up a business as an entrepreneur from home. I have the time and I have the office. What are some great options out there that have been proven to be successful?
What interests you?
You can start up any kind of business you'd like from home really. You just have to figure out what you would enjoy working with the most. Do you want to sell health related goods online? Or maybe comics and toys? Or do you want to focus more on your own branding?
People who buy wholesale and mark up items tend to do well but you need to make sure you are marketing your online site properly. You can have a great idea with great products but if the traffic isn't going to the site, you won't earn anything.
You can look into your options for online businesses and services. I am referring to things like logo creation, freelance, software setup, website development and things of this nature. There are always people looking for these services.
Do you want it to be run online or offline? There are options you can do that are local based and don't fully function online. Options include bike repair, dog walking. electronic repair, and event planning to name a few. More online based options would be ebay assistants, tax prep, freelance writing or graphic design. There are a lot of options out there that cost very little to start.
I am going to assume you mean online since you mentioned an office at home. I would first consider what interests you. It is easier to be successful with a startup that you are fully invested in and is something that means something to you personally.
