Best startup funding website?

What is the best website to use to get some funding? I have everything I need to present to people and all the information, I am just not sure what website to put my startup on to get people investing in me and my idea.

If I had to pick just one it would be Kickstarter. Second to this would be GoFundMe but this is more based on charity than actual business building.

Kickstarter has been at the top for years now and I can't think of a better site. Other options are out there but they are very niche/topic specific which doesn't make them good for everyone.

I can't think of any other funding website that services as a platform for a diverse level of ideas and products. You can literally go on there and find something in ever single niche on the market. I backed a few myself before.

GoFundMe was once a place you could do something like this on. But as of the last few years, it just became a charity site. Mostly people looking for fun medical debts, college fees, or general fundraising for causes.

I've seen plenty of startups begin on Kickstarter, although plenty receive no money at all I'm sure.

If you have an innovative idea that you can prove will earn money, you should see some success fundraising.

@demarco GoFundMe was originally for businesses I believe but then they got more popular and better traction allowing people to focus on themselves and charity.

Kickstarter is the only one that comes to mind if you are looking for funding from the general public. There are other options but your chances of getting a following and real support on Kickstarter are much higher and greater.

@demarco I noticed that over the years that they really pulled away from crowd funding for businesses and function as charity. A lot of young adults ask for help with college on there.
